Soloist-Mandola

The Soloist-Mandola is the master instrument. It is designed with high rims and a shallow, vaulted, staved back in the Portuguese style, to provide a strong sustaining sound with a voluminous bass and brilliant trebles. Warmth combined with definition and balance are the trademark of this mandola. Much care has been taken in selecting the tone wood, in tuning the braces, and in the workmanship toward aesthetic details. The soundboard is made of exquisite German spruce and the body can be made in either rosewood or maple. The ebony fingerboard has 24 frets and the tuning machines are hand-engraved.
