"P. Manfredi, Milano" (probably around 1910) Manfredi was the best maker of Lombardian mandolins of his days; the body is made of 17 dark Rosewood ribs with yellow linings; the sound is clear and bright “singing” with a remarkable tonal depth and warmth; a very great and rare instrument.
